someone makes an open pug system, people play it, people get tired of having to play with morons so they go to inhouses, the only people left playing the pug system are the ones who aren't in inhouses, the pug system dies and everyone plays in different pug groups, someone makes a new open system to try and bring everyone back together, repeat

no i really love paying money every season so it can be funneled to invite and I can fight for a chance at making 15 bucks. i love being able to contribute to making tf2 a real esport with a prizepool, and i in no way feel like my 5 years of contributions to paid leagues has been wasted. getting to watch banny make rent every month makes it all worth it.
