trying to get valve to add stickers, esports crates and all that shit just seems unreasonable to me. a simple in game item with proceeds benefiting a LAN seems like enough to get a large prize pool.

the amount of dlc already out for the game is laughable. god i hate ea so much.
WARHURYEAHI don't think having bigger lans with bigger prize pools is going to help things, I'd rather see a heavier focus on making leagues a lot more healthy which will in turn spawn more regular high quality content, help teams stick together for longer and give newer teams and players more motivation to improve.
how? money plays a very large factor in why pros are quitting for overwatch. larger prize pools will bring players AND sponsors.
if there are any TF2 gamers going to oregon state, HMU
DoctorMiggynetwrkjrkif valve added in game purchases that contributed to funding tournaments (exactly like dota 2) i feel like it could really rejuvenate the scene. if prize pools are larger, it can give pros an incentive to put time into the game.
Maybe we can.
I can ask Eric about having a community made medal put in the mannco store and with the proceeds going to the LAN fund.
Doesn't hurt to ask, the worst he can say is "No"
an item in the mann co store could reach literally everyone in the community. compare that to the standard tf.tv forum post asking for donations. imagine a tf2 LAN with a 20,000-30,000 dollar prize pool. why not? theres more than enough people to fund it, all we need is exposure.

bearodactylTino_Out either gully, blands or grans and in gpit imothis is why open players shouldn't be allowed to have a say in these things
still can't comprehend how so many retarded new players have convinced themselves badlands sucks just because they've been backcapped in pugs
you gotta admit the one second cap time was pretty ridiculous
IN GAME COACHES UNFAIR
EUROPEANS ARE IN THERE

Hi! few things to start off with =] 1. yes I added you because you're a female gamer, 'tis an awesome thing to see! 2. I'm Brian. 3. Don't be intimidated, but I'm not a stereotypical guy. If anything, I'll be the one in the kitchen.
GazFrom someone who rates himself the second best scout after clockwork
when did he say this? not questioning, just curious
shojannetwrkjrkFlickerSC2 is basically dead compared to how big it used to be.netwrkjrkyou think blizzard listens to the community? theyve fucked over their fans in just about every single one of the games theyve released. except OW which is their current money pit.
I was mostly referring to OW's community actually, I don't know much about their other games, so you have a point here.
WoW hasn't been good for many years and blizzard shut down the privately ran vanilla server.
HoTS was blizzard's attempt to buy into the MOBA market and was a complete disaster.
Hearthstone is a pay to win online card game. .
Diablo 3.
Overwatch is kind of fun but competitively it's extremely uninteresting to watch. (opinion)
Meanwhile, valve is running CSGO and DOTA 2 which are both top 3 esports in the entire world. i disagree with a lot of shit that valve does, but blizzard has fucked me over way harder as a fan of the old diablo, starcraft, and warcraft games.
cs:go is kinda getting ruined by valve aswell, if you check the global offensive subreddit you'll notice.
pistols are op, jump shots are 100% reliable somehow now, rank system is absolute garbo aswell. (regarding the izakoo controversy.)
.
like i said, i disagree with a lot of shit valve does, especially with csgo. however, theyre usually SOMEWHAT quick to fix things that cause community outrage, and the mistakes arent franchise destroying like the ones that blizzard has made.
does 20b actually have the potential to beat froyo and top EU teams?
