smh all these kids tryin to latch onto the "i love hedgehog hero" fad for free upvotes
When Trawson initially made his "is it worth getting into this game" post i added him to help him out.
When he had less than 10 hours in the game, he already had well above average rocket jumping mechanics (and knew all of the rollouts from most spawns and forward spawns), was hitting double airshots on me in mge, would idly gather ammopacks (meaning he knew where ammopacks were on maps without thinking about it (not something he is likely to have learned from overwatch, lol)), and took out his melee to run faster specifically when he had low health despite the fact that he had never owned an escape plan. he also immediately started talking in the lingo of tf2 players when he had 15 hours. now that it turns out he was a toxic retard, i wonder if my initial suspicion that he was definitely an alt of an older player who was looking to abandon his old persona turned out to be true?
Anyway, hope you find a team for this season thor, sorry for stirring the pot in your lft thread.
I have an important announcement to make:
From here on out, powerful gamer™ and demoman main® "Hedgehog Hero" will be known as "Sledgehog HammerHero". Please refer to him as such in any future happenings posts.
you guys dont understand
they are currently working on a huge update which will change weapon statistics seemingly at random, will add content that other people made for them, and will make major changes to matchmaking such as "added an additional question to the end of game survey." you're all hooting now about how valve does nothing but just wait until they do something worse than that!
for those that dont feel like reading, the republican governor of north carolina lost the election, and the republican majority of lawmakers are in a flurry passing pieces of legislation to completely remove the power that the incoming democrat governor will have in an attempt to keep as much republican control of the state as they can. this is the same state government that passes strictly unconstitutional voting restrictions to prevent black people from voting though, so i cant say its surprising!
why would you not want people to switch to a platform with good administration, incentive to perform, legitimate e-sports clout, and self regulating high quality matchmaking? no one is saying tf2center should shut down today, but people absolutely should be playing on faceit instead if they want good quality matches.
domthewhiteguybasmati rice is amazing
did you know tiger pee smells like basmati rice
do i play faceit cup or passtime tournament... decisions decisions
hello my fellow intermediate division players, it is i, also an intermediate division player
Yo just play steel on a low commitment team if you don't want to worry about getting verbally abused. You got pretty unlucky to have that happen to you, and I understand its hard to try to put yourself in the position for that to happen again, but just playing a season on a crap ugc team with no expectations will make you way more comfortable in a team environment and you'll probably meet some cool dudes along the way who you can play open with.
if you are in elo hell, you are at your correct skill rank. every good matchmaking system will attempt to force you into a 50% win rate by pairing you against better players until you cant overcome them, or by pairing you against worse players until you can no longer beat them. people who say that they are at a forced 50% winrate (i see this a lot from dota players) literally just dont understand how matchmaking systems work apparently, and that if you win a bunch of games in a row it logically follows that you will lose a bunch of games in a row afterwards as a result of your increased matchmaking rating pairing you against better players.
if elo hell really existed then for every person experiencing elo hell, another person would be experiencing elo "heaven" where they just get carried well above their skill rank, but strangely enough you never hear about that effect.
Nub_Danishso because 1 in 15,000 people could be be somewhere between male and female everyone should be able to self identify as whatever gender they make up for themselves. its ridiculous to ask for places to make an option for other when only 1 in 15000 people would be that other
how about the 1 in 8 people who are black, should there be no possible option for them? how about the 1 in 50 people who are jewish, should there be no possible option for them? if 1 in 100 people identified outside of their own gender do you think it would be acceptable? how about 1 in 1000? like at what arbitrary point in your brain is it acceptable to start ignoring a minority group of people based on their portion of the population?
