You might be using the old version of the clean tf2 mod? Delete those vpks and download the updated version if that's so.

GentlemanJon-Names may be a bit messed up, I’ll be putting something in place to request name changes but I won’t be doing it manually now. You can search on your community id instead, the big long number with nothing else in it.

FireStarwConsidering how little dev time tf2 seems to get valve will probably just block hudanimation edits to fix this, although I think there are other unpatched methods of removing the sniper scope as well.
See this is why i didn't make a thread like this two days ago, they'll probably go over the top with blocking the vpk stuff as well, and i like the rest of clean tf2 :(
Also yeah i've been using the mod for the past couple of days (the second screenie is mine) and it's infinitely easier to snipe with

i use viewmodel_fov -360; r_drawviewmodel 0 but it obviously has the same effect as your slot2 bind radeon
I installed the clean tf2 mod yesterday (not the hud, just the mod) and for some reason my sniper game has improved dramatically...
This picture was taken when I was scoped... Is it meant to do this?
Edit: I just noticed that it was said above that there are sniper scope materials in the misc vpk... jarateking, could you please explain a bit how this works and why you've included it? Increasing sniper fov while scoped seems like a bit of an exploit to me, it certainly makes close range headshots much easier.

Just a tip for anyone else still on windows 8, you can disable the annoying 8.1 nag popup by uninstalling a particular update, it's fairly simple. Just google it for specifics. Hopefully this will save some other people an issue like this in the future.

Potentially you could be running out of ram... does the jitteriness happen more when you have other programs open in the background? (ignoring mumble, it's small and shouldn't make any real difference)
I'd suggest that you not use tf2mate, I've had nothing but trouble from it. When I used to use it it unbound all my keybinds every time I died. Everything it does is available elsewhere anyway.
