Hey guys, rays here. If some of you weren't already aware, I've been making HUD-based tutorial videos and putting them out on my YouTube channel. I believe I made a thread for my first one, but I figured just making one general thread for all of them might be a better idea. Hopefully this will resolve a lot of simple questions that people have about HUD editing, and spread the knowledge across a wider audience so more people might be versed in the ways of how to edit.

While my DM is still not my strong point, I feel like getting to play a second season in IM has really improved both it and my gamesense to a certain extent. Met him in my community's pub (The Rabbit Hole/TRHServers), and kinda kept up with him and how he was doing as he progressed from TWL, to Open, to IM, and now into Invite.

Also helped my first team (Sunday Funday :<) when we were first starting out by going over maps with us and explaining the importance of pushing with advantages, telling certain hold locations, and watching the occasional demo or two.

With this update, if you set the command "tf_hud_show_servertimelimit" value to "1", you will now see the following timer below the normal one:

What this timer is is the amount of time left in the map, as opposed to the useless timer that displayed the time left in each round below it; essentially the equivalent to the timer that showed how much time that was left upon hitting tab.

A full-blown rayshud update is in the works for the future, but hopefully this will tide you guys over for now!

Even if this is true, I've seen people that have had mixed architectures that still seem to get significantly better performance. As for the motherboard, I edited it into the main post.

Also, I've tested a few more games on their max graphical settings (Planetside 2, Skyrim), and both of them run around ~120ish FPS on the same resolution that I'm running TF2 with an FPS config on at. (1920x1080)

Hey guys. Recently I built myself a new PC back in March. It's been pretty awesome so far, booting up quickly and running all the programs and stuff I need it to. However, when it comes to running games and stuff, while it gets the job done, it seems like its not being used to its true potential. Even while using Chris' dx9frames (with ragdolls/gibs turned off), my FPS on most maps never raises above 200, and at times can be as low as anywhere from the 60-90ish range (even when I'm not streaming). This is important to me, as since I have a 120hz monitor, I try to maintain at least a minimum of 120 or so FPS).

Is there anything that I can do to check and see if there's either something bottle-necking my TF2 in particular, or my computer as a whole?

To make things easier, here are a few more of my specs:

GTX 680 2GB (@ default speed)
8GB DDR3 (2x4GB g.skill sniper series)
