How can I edit this?

I have a steam skin installed, which makes my notifications appear at the top right, rather than the bottom right, which is much more convenient as it doesn't obscure the killfeed. Does anyone know what I can edit or change to make it show up on the bottom right without removing my skin?
EDIT: I looked around in the skin files and figured it out, but while I still have this thread up, does anyone know how to edit a HUD to make the text appear center left instead of bottom left?
