How come my comfig.cfg doesn't have the comments and organization of the code changes for version 6.11.5?

whitepuzzleAlso, how to get 15.2ms interp on V6? I set snapshots to "lan" in modules.cfg, but I still have 21.0ms interp.
I think the answer was that 15.2 was too unreliable and resulted in packet loss.
Since TF2 just crashes when loading in-game matchmaking in DX8, would it be better to have "mat_dxlevel 90/95" in mm_overrides.cfg to save people a restart?
Adding the new "run_modules" commands into user/autoexec.cfg doesn't work on startup, but it does work in console after startup. Running the command through the launch options works too.
When I load into tf2 normally with the low preset, all my settings look like they do in this screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/O3JUvMP . I made no changes to the vpk and the "echo" commands all show up in the console on startup. Typing "exec comfig/modules-run" fixes the settings, but why doesn't it work when the game boots up from the autoexec?
mastercomssAvenFor the 6.11.1 version, would putting my custom class configs into tf / custom / my_custom_stuff / cfg / user work the same way as just putting them in tf / cfg / user?Yes, the SteamPipe system shares the file structure with the main tf/ folder. However, I'd like to recommend using either tf/cfg or packing your custom folder into a VPK (if your custom files are supported for the VPK format) for faster load times.
Do you mean dragging and dropping the entire custom folder into vpk.exe? Is it safe?

Is there a way to replay those short intro movie clips that play when you enter a map for the first time?
edit: nvm, it's a button on the hud
Somebody mentioned that the hud I'm using makes their game too laggy. Are there hud-specific performance optimizations that I could add to make it easier on my PC?
If I use hudanimations_custom.txt instead of a custom hudanimations_tf.txt, if I wanted to remove an animation, do I just leave the entire field for the animation blank or do I need to set each event to be invisible?

Or...

How do I remove the XP Gained animation that appears on the main menu after a casual game?
How do I remove this animation?
I'm trying to delete the "xp gained" animation and sound that happens after you complete a casual game. For me, if I go into the main menu, the sound pierces my ears and the animation lags the main menu, so I went into hudanimations_tf.txt to remove it. So far I think I got the animation to disappear but not the sound.
Here's the modified hudanimations_custom.txt that I'm using: https://imgur.com/KbnE5tp
For some reason, my ammo and itemeffectmeter bars disappear for no reason. Hudreloadscheme doesn't fix it, only reloading the game does. Anybody know if there's another way?
Ryder_Pills-1714sAvenMy hud’s scoreboard doesn’t have a functional mouse mode. No names can be clicked or right clicked. Is there a way I can fix it?
Put on your console: tf_scoreboard_mouse_mode 1
Yea the command works. When I open the scoreboard, my mouse can move around, but no names can be clicked or right clicked.
