best thing taht could happen is that they eventually outsource TF2 development to Hidden Path or someone else that actually has working devs

what -dxlevel are you setting? -dxlevel 91 is the most recommended one for dx9 i think
i think it would be nice to remove the lamp lights if you cant collide with them to use as hiding spots anyway

alternatively, if you want to keep them as light sources just put them so far up that they dont disturb movement or vision unnecesseraly

getting vocally angry at a new player wastes time in comms and will only make him play worse or not want to play at all due to feeling like a burden imo
best thing to do when he makes a mistake is be cool tell him what he did wrong, not scream at him

if not, yes
if you are used to X sens and turn on raw input it will make it way slower
so adjust the sens after enabling raw input so that its roughly the same than before
raw input should make you more consistent, not the other way around
