It wasn't letting me update the SM/MM because of permission errors. The other admins also have stuff to do so blaming them for giving you free servers is always the right thing to do. You can always provide your own DM servers if you want. And no, I am not speaking on behalf of eXtv here.

Looking for crosshairs

The default ones work for me just fine. As long as you make a config that changes the crosshair depending on what weapon you are using then a custom crosshair isn't all that necessary IMO. Custom ones do look nicer sometimes but you shouldn't be focusing on the crosshair as much as focusing on your movement and where the enemy is on your screen. I hope that makes sense. I don't use my crosshair so to speak; just as a guideline to find the middle of my screen. What I mean is that you shouldn't just zero in on your crosshair or you'll get tunnel vision.
