I recently started playing on 1280x720 fullscreen and alt-tabbing took like 30 seconds (nowhere near 2 minutes) but I removed -nod3d9ex and now it's damn near instantaneous.

KillingStaticVoidAll of you complaining about no weapon/class bans fail to realize that Valve isn't going to just take ESEA or UGC's configs and slap their name on it. They're focused on releasing a MM that, like others have said, will bridge the gap from everyday pubs, to much more serious play. ESEA and UGC will still exist, they will continue to run their configs, and Valve will run theirs. It's similar to how competitive in CS:GO works. CS:GO MM servers do not match the same server configs as ESEA, so I would expect Valve to follow a similar route with TF2.

Try playing heavy on a viaduct HL lobby or something, it's pretty hectic at times. Playing pistol only DM works as well although some people might be bothered at it
The weird angle plug thing JUST happened to my Piston 2.0s after a little over a year of pretty heavy use, can't complain when they were only $20. Really want to order the Piston 3.0s but I have the comply foam tips that don't fit the 3.0s.
