Gritomathese high-invite teams are really good and deserving of some success and its a major bummer that the highest they tend to go is second place
If they were "deserving" wouldn't they actually win? lol
If its randomly picked that seems really stupid, theres already a home/away team system that isnt used for anything if i remember correctly, just give away teams the first ban and home team picks what is left?
remove viaduct this season, add cardinal and reckoner/some other next season?
Makes entire map pool 5cp and also jumping from 7 maps to 9 maps next season would work with this
TriBasically, for every match, each team will ban up to 3 maps (bans may overlap) and one of the remaining maps will be selected to be played.
Selected randomly or by a home/away team?
There Will Be No Mercy
Coordinating with your team to accomplish a push/hold. The feeling you get when a situation comes up your team has been talking about/reviewing/working on and your team executes well. It's so satisfying.
Doing it against competent(invite) players feels 10x better too.
No other "gaming" experience comes even close to it.
I threw Jeremy into a really tough situation(playing medic for an invite team that wanted to make top4), he had no experience, he had ego(he doesn't like losing-like anyone else). Despite the team not panning out very well at all, he tried his best to stay positive, learn, play well, and didn't quit. 90% of people in his situation would have quit, but he held out.
Jeremy may not be one of the best players I've played with, but hes easily one of the best teammates.
If you are new to 6s(only a few esea seasons) and really have the drive to try and push yourself to mid-invite or beyond.
Jeremy is a great person to look into and tryout. If hes part of your core, and your fraggers are outgrowing him, he can med. He's not the kind of player you will end up having to cut for one reason or another.
He has serious potential, good personality. Try him out.
