There is a tons of new div6/div5 teams with people who are new to this game
the game itself will live a long time, i hope so at least.
Tf2 looks dead for people (a lot of people to be honest) only because of the community

missing texture tf2 crosshair?

messiahJthats strange the only way you can get that crosshair error is from typing cl_crosshair_file incorrectly
for instance if you type cl_crosshair_file "crosshair5" it'll give that error but typing
cl_crosshair_file crosshair5 it'll show the dot correctly.
yeah i know, but i don't use any tf2 ingame crosshairs, ony hud ones, so the problem SHOULD dissapear after typing in crosshair 0
but it doesn't, and i have absolutely no clue what can cause that :\

Hey everyone. Today when i launched tf2, for some reason any in-game crosshair became to be %missingtexture% one. Pics below. Before i launched, there was a steam message about cloud sync and i've choosen to download stuff to machine. Is there any fix available? Help me, please, i can't play with it ;_;

Stuff i've tried already:
-rebooting PC (lol)
-verifying tf2 files
-log in/log out
Noone of them seems to work.

Macbook pro differences

A good friend of mine own first one you listed above, and he's regreting buying it because of its overheating while playing any games. If i would be you, i'd better buy any other laptop for the same (lower) amount of money, or just build an awesome rig. It doesn't really worth spending 2k dollars on a laptop thats overheating while playing 7 years old game imo.
TLDR: What #5 said.
