Thanks for all the answers guys, i really do appreciate that! I'll stop by buying Xeon cpu instead of new gpu. Will probably buy one later on anyway.
maidosi have the xeon cpu myself with can stream 1080 60fps just fine.
Is that xeon cpu compatible with my motherboard? Where i can check that?

Nah, sadly i can't get a constant 240 fps with this setup, even fps_max doesn't seems to work. And 240 fps is what im looking for.
Hey there. I'm looking to buy a new 120hz monitor. As far as i know, to get it work properly i need to get at least 240 fps. Currently i can easily run constant 120fps (highframes 1366x768, while my monitor is 1600x1200) but that's not going to be enough when i buy 120hz screen. At least i've been told so. The thing is, i'm pretty poop-ish at HW, so i decided to ask here.
What to upgrade?
My specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5 - 2500cpu @ 3.3ghz
Motherboard: ASUS P8 H67-M
Videocard: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 v2
RAM: 8174 Mb
Windows 7 (64 bit)
I don't really want to spend tons of money on a new rig, i think i'd better upgrade some stuff.
Personally i think my main problem is very old videocard. But i want to hear other opinions. Thanks.
Also, it could be pretty nice if you could recomment me some good/decent budget HW.
Good to see that this game still growing up after 7 years. We literally have the most beautiful and friendly community. Much of a pride to be a part of it.

1)Use the sensitivity you're comfortable with, don't change it over long time from like 30cm/360 to 10cm/360, that could really hurt your aim.
2)Make sure you got a good mouse that doesn't stutter or lag or some other poop.
3)120 hz monitor.
English, Latvian, Russian and Eesti. Used to know Finnish, but oh well.
Hello tf.tv, my computer broke a while back, and when it was fixed I had to get windows reinstalled again.
I've reinstalled steam and tf2, but it doesn't launch for some reason. I've tried to verify cache files, it said that all files are validated already. I've also tried to reinstall tf2, done it, but the problem is still there.
No errors on startup or anything. Its just showing up on steam that im "Playing tf2" but game immediately crash. Anything you can recommend me doing? Thanks in advice and sorry for my english.
clean and good looking, will use it for sure
