eee i actually don't know how u have your sanity doing this literally all the people who end up theorycrafting on r/tf2 are the same people where it's painfully obvious they have little to no competitive experience jesus christ people are arguing in favor of the sandman i'm actually about to lose my mind HELP

what i meant was that in order for the tomislav to have an advantage over stock you'd have to utilize the more accurate spread which means firing at a things at a distance, which doesn't really happen (from what i've seen) since heavies don't lead pushes and are horribly limited by snipers hardscoping and whatnot.

Mine works just fine, I have never seen this error before. You just put the vpk right in the custom folder correct?

Tomislav is a lot stronger in 6's because you're actually in a position to abuse the benefits it provides. It's only used in niche situations in highlander because sniper is so omnipresent and so you won't get much benefit out of the 20% more accurate spread. Also the dps down is only really relevant in heavy v heavy fights, which obviously rarely happen in 6's.
Whether or not these benefits over stock would make the tomislav broken in 6's is a different matter of course. I'd put it in the degreaser category where like yea it's superior to stock but that in it of itself does not warrant a ban. Interesting to hear others thoughts on it.

fists of steel are incredibly broken especially with how arrows work and how easy it is to arrow a heavy
personally i think beggars have the direct hit problem where yea it's not broken but on the other hand it's not fun to turn a corner and find a beggars soldier with 3 rockets already loaded and just get instantly shredded
actually fixing invisible players would be nice
the transitions are really fucking seamless especially between like the casters and the sequence starting at around 8:50

I'VE WANTED AND WAITED FOR IT FOR SO LONG
i've never found heavy to be too "unfun" to play against but playing against pyro's who plus the m2 key is just god awful ESPECIALLY since airblast is used much more often as a dumb crutch aim assist/complete momentum denier rather than actually reflecting things.
the actual "people shuffling" part of airblast as it is is the only real aids part of pyro since flamethrowers are a bad weapon and reflects are honestly easy to deal with if you don't go for directs (not to mention sticks det in your face if you reflect and you can fire pills faster than you can reflect). Personally i believe a really nice change would be some form of start up time to airblast (just so it isn't some instant aim assist)+ some sort of visual cue to let you know that you are about to be airblasted so you can adjust accordingly. Airblast should also not have the ability to complete eliminate any form of momentum or have the ability to take away strafing instantly (even on the first airblast) since having that type of control taken away from you is really frustrating to play against and just dumb, obviously some people might not agree with me but I truly believe that "fun" mechanics are very important in any game. You can be "juggled" in a sense by other projectiles in this game but none are instant like airblast and they can all be avoided with proper movement and such, not to mention those techniques are at least "somewhat" skill-indexed.
obviously adding some sort of startup lag makes reflecting harder but then again adding a modicum of skill-indexing to this shit class is probably a good thing
these changes make the class even worse than it already is but at least then you can start to buff different mechanics and not deal with how shit airblast is

Argue about hl all you want, but this is seriously not the thread to do it. These people worked very hard to run and promote this tournament, and whether or not you agree or like hl, i personally believe one more player that has experienced some form of competitive tf2 is a good thing.
just my opinion but holy shit jump_pagoda is awful
