the corsair h series is awesome. get that cooler.
Just a bump/reminder. Wednesday at 9est we are doing our 2nd charity stream for ghos7. 4 unusuals, mouse, mousepad, steam games, tf2 items to give away.
Looking into some fun events/contests such as: death run, saxton hale, pyro dodgeball, maybe prophunt again, and some secret stuff too. 6s and HL lobbies/pugs are likely. Please tune in and spread the word to help ghos7!

A newer version of what I have. 120hz display. If you are used to playing with 120hz you should try to get a laptop with 120hz because once you get used to it playing with 60hz is horrible.
Well I mean if you want a gaming laptop you have to make small sacrifices. It's going to be bigger and heavier than a casual use laptop. The battery life won't be as good either (but 95% of the time you use it you are going to plug it in anyway). The pros outweigh the cons tho. Even with a fairly large laptop I have a backpack for it and I can put all of the following things inside easily:
Laptop
Charger
Mousepad
Mouse
Cooling mat
Keyboard
Network cable (25ft)
Earbuds/zalman mic
Extra mouse
Misc items (phone charger, flash drives, external HDD)
If it can all fit on my back I'm not gonna complain. It's a hell of a lot easier than lugging my tower to LANs
fieldsthrasherI picked up a Toshiba Qosmio with 120hz 17" screen for around $1000 last year on newegg. Look for refurbished ones. Most of the time it's not even used. With mine, the box was damaged in shipping and they had to put it in a new box. Never used. 45% off.does yours blue screen every time you move it? if not i guess the problem is only on my end, thats the only issue i've encountered woth my qosmio. that and it heats up pretty quickly but the fps in every game i play is incredible and i think it was a pretty good purchase.
I've never had any issue with mine. I picked up a cooling mat for it so I've never had any problems with hear either. I only use mine at LANs, and the only slight problem is with my microphone jack, which KoolB broke at the last Atlanta LAN. I have a USB adapter for it tho so no big deal.
