Sounds like an awesome idea if people buy into it.

Hoping I'm not too late to get in on the TF2 block.
I'm also looking for a team, I can play either soldier role or scout. REALLY hoping I don't end up on another team full of 10 year olds asking why I "keep explode jumping when we're trying to run to the point".
Still looking
Thank you mysterious and powerful admins!
oh wow I'm an idiot, I meant to post this in the recruitment thread. Can a mod help me?
We are entering our first season in CEVO Open, and are building up some positive momentum leading into the season, but we're also in need of some go-to subs. In order to have less "moving pieces", we'd like to have people that can sub at at least a low-mid open level on multiple classes, but ultimately the most important thing we want is someone that is: chill, content with being a sub for the season, willing and able to buy into our team's system, and consistent.
Our scrim/match schedule is very work/family/school friendly, since all of us are either working full-time, married, going to school full-time, or a combination of the 3. If you've been wanting to play but were scared that you didn't have the time, hit me up.
If you have any other general questions about the team that I didn't answer here, feel free to ask.
Been having a bunch of fun with it, good silly fun.
Wait wait that's way too much.
My goal this LAN: Be on a team that caps mid.
I'm definitely going to be there.
My goal this LAN: Win one round.

Ok, so just to be sure, John finds this stuff because people post it to pastebin hoping for him to pick it up? Like, someone says something to you in a pm and you post it on pastebin afterwards? Or is there something else I'm missing?
I think a key is finding a team with a similar situation. My team is full of guys in similar situations to me (full-time work, family, school, etc). We play together about 3-4 hours a week total. We are probably on pace to make invite in 2024, but we're having fun together and doing so in a way that doesn't encroach on our other responsibilities in life.
Do you want to play comp TF2? YOU CAN DO IT, JUST DO IT.
Do you want to make invite in a few seasons? Then you're probably out of luck.
First question: "Why?"
Second question: "What gives you the right?"
Those two seem to be the best interview questions you can ask, regardless of the circumstances. Get hostile as soon as possible.
