i got this in beta and never played it, then i played it and i sucked, then never played it

Played it a little in beta, had fun for a while, realized it was kinda boring and stopped playing it. I didn't really appreciate how if you didn't spend money it was just a gigantic, ridiculously long grind fest to get anything halfway decent. Also not spending money really limits your experimentation due to lack of non-reusable weapon parts. 5/10.

I have a reasonable amount of hours on the beta, the game itself is a lot of fun, it's the right kind of game for it, crazy weapon combinations, profanity, silly characters.

I also tried to play some of the first competitive matches the game had, but when I tried it was still at the very begining like the early stages of tf2 comp and looked like a glorified pub.

Haven't tried it much lately but last time I played it last week it had really improved a lot from what it was in the early beta stages. Entirely new weapon craft system which now works with kind of a skill/tech tree which you can unlock with points from matches. New characters, more gamemodes etc...

To improve your weapons you have to sink some time into it, but you don't really need to spend cash on it, it's not pay to win.

The eternal beta has killed loadout :/

I really like how this game feels. It's kind of like a mix between TF2 and Quake.

Yo how da fuck do you unlock the competitive mode?

Is it worth spending money on this game at all? Or can you unlock all weapon parts in a reasonable amount of time by grinding?

Is shit actually balanced or are there some "standard" weapons that everyone uses to win?

it's pretty fun. you gotta unlock the parts for a sniper rifle for it to be really fun.

I assume you unlock the competitive mode by leveling up.

Every game altering aspect can be unlocked by just playing.

I have no idea about balance honestly. As far as I know, beam snipers are king at the moment, but pretty much everything is viable if you just play casually. Hell, the slug rifle with no special attachements or mods is a good enough weapon as long as you can aim it.

Seeing in front of you is a crutch for bad gamesense. You should have known what they were going to do w/o seeing them in the first place!!

I dont like the 3rd person either but it seems they went that route because of all the costumization options of the game so you can always see your character and his "items".

I don't mind the third person. The only thing about it I dislike is that it's not really viable for either party to fight point-blank.

this game's actually pretty fun. hope it lasts awhile.

Been having a bunch of fun with it, good silly fun.

That extraction mode or whatever (the blue crystal one) is hilarious. Once I figured it out I spent the rest of my time running around and depositing the crystals while juking the fuck out of the other team until we won.

Extraction makes me want to die a little. It seems like I'm made the collector only whenever I'm completely surrounded by enemies.

Played this game for like 5 hours today, 9/10 would do again

Changed my resolution once and can no longer reach the button for options and there seems to be no way to change resolution out of game.

Im sorry, do guns have levels? Meaning some nerd with level 7 guns is going to do 7 levels worth of damage compared to my gun? What the fuck is that bullshit?

It's not to that kind of level, but the more you play, the more you are able to upgrade your weapons with the currency you get at the end of each game.

Don't see a text file to edit graphics, controls or lock the framerate. Disappointing since if I can't lock the framerate in games it heats my comp to uncomfortable levels.

Game's pretty fun otherwise.

Super fun game, the movement is really free and it seems to have decent gunplay. Not sure about every mechanic but i would recomend this for those days your not in the mood for quake/tf/cs
