PinKushinSentinel you must not of been around when tf2lobby went under. It was at least twice as big as centers ever been and it just seemed to disappear in less then a month. I don't even know why it failed, I don't remember any Lobby drama at that point but I could be mistaken. Either way my point is NOTHING IS TOO BIG TO FAIL ON THE INTERNET.
There was no drama, it was because the site was intermittently crashing/going down for months at a time and the owners were nowhere to be found.

What's stopping us from expanding available low-level IRC pugs in the meantime? It won't bring over the majority of tf2center players, but I'm not convinced a new site would either & this gives better options to us people who care about it.
I mean, there used to be several populated pug channels of different skill levels but it's been a long time since that was really the case, unless I'm just missing some of them. Last I checked tf2mix was full of IM to invite players, which I'm pretty sure was never the intent of it

ViperBonafideIt makes sense for the Beggar's Bazooka to be this way. Ammo currently in the clip and ammo in reserve are tied to the weapon when you pick it up. Since the Beggar's Bazooka has to pre-load rockets, it would make sense for the rockets to fire as soon as you pick up the gun, as you wouldn't have time to cancel the fire animation.deetrIf you die with rockets loaded in the Beggars Bazooka and somebody picks it up, they will immediately fire all of them when they pick it upNo, that's a feature :^)

Lobbies no problem, half those players are 13-17 anyway. And as long as your teammates don't mind your voice and you're willing to learn, playing actual comp tf2 should be fine too
