there's apparently a turning animation for this, but it doesn't show up for others, only when you use the taunt yourself
it looks real terrible right now as a result, like there's only a single frame of animation and you just float about otherwise
2639 frames 18.458 seconds 142.97 fps ( 6.99 ms/f) 13.702 fps variability
CPU and overclock: i5 4460 @ 3.20GHz
Graphics Card: ASUS Radeon 270X
Driver version:15.20.1062.1004
dxlevel (default is 90): 81
Resolution: 1280x720
Full-screen or windowed: windowed
FPS configs enabled: modified comanglia toaster config (I'm just used to the ugliness, and it's easy to switch the few commands that matter for quad-cores)
Shadows enabled/disabled: disabled
notes: this is post-halloween '15, I really should've done one before the update just to check but I'm pretty sure I used to get noticeably lower than 142 fps on average

this better be the most expensive unusual of all time or the tf2 economy is rigged
really, that's the least of the worries in terms of basic explanation. how many of these players even know how to open up console? it's not like any of this is really well-explained enough to where a complete F2P could instantly understand, you either just find out on your own by experimenting or you have someone tell you, and that's not a good thing when a large majority of these basic configs are so important that you'd be playing worse by not using them.
admittedly, a lot of this might sound like I'm talking about complete idiots, but... well, it's not the nicest term, but I kind of am. TF2 could be any one of these players' first online games they've ever played, period, and that means they will know absolutely nothing about what you're supposed to do. if you want to make sure you never have to deal with them on their ignorant side, streamline the fuck out of as much as you possibly can until you're only left with easily-digestible, but still fluent and in-depth info
seconding the guides. a quick glance at comp.tf's configs article shows a really barren picture (and a heavily outdated one, too; why are chris' and m0re's configs still shown, when they're effectively worse all-around compared to newer configs?), when configs are incredibly important for how a lot of competitive TF2 players currently play. tagg had a good video on basic console commands, but it never really went beyond a single video, which is a shame
mid-to-high is going to get mixed up quite a lot for the first year+ after MM comes, but for immediate preparation it's a much better idea to just make sure new players are fully and easily informed. at the end of the day, any potential clusterfucks from new players will come from ignorance, not malice
STOGEIdk about medic, but I think this is probs the best crosshair for all classes.
only good for medic if it spurts upon popping uber
TwilitlordClockwork eliminated FChamp and Chris eliminated Justin, both offstream. ChrisG the only marvel god left in bracket
adding to this: chris g was eliminated by RF for the top 8 slot
you know, RF, the japanese morridoom. chris g was knocked out by his own concoction
flamethis situation is actually pathetic.
by this situation I mean ESEA
um
is there actually a reason to stick around with ESEA?
I mean I... thought the dealbreaker that made people stick to them was the LANs, but that's gone?
yukiWhat happened exactly? I wasn't around to watch the stream.
both sets went to the third map, despite pretty much everyone thinking that ascent/froyo would roll, but then because of server problems the final map for all teams will only happen tomorrow
that was... incredibly anticlimactic, to say the least
I find it a bit odd that ESEA would set up a playoffs and then have nobody overlook it while it's going on
I am very glad for the man in a box, he has allowed us to see the now-starting incredibly tense last game
http://www.twitch.tv/the_sideshow
honestly I already knew he was in a box, but it's even funnier than it sounded like
marblr's internet connection is mighty unfortunate
I'm presuming it's the streamer's end, at least, because it seems like the casters have kept talking on like nothing happened
I mean, I understand the importance of discussing and lightening up suicide for less stubborn conversation, but on the flipside maybe that's best left to threads that aren't basically just about someone wanting to dodge a ban (from a site I thought everyone wanted to stay far away from??? but hey, I don't know public opinion)
dflameAnd you're back to defend your friend, how cute.
how is this an even remotely reasonable response to explaining the flaws in your odd, arbitrary witchhunting
