ok about 50 ppl have msged me since this thread was made maybe i will try to do something since i might not have to work that hard for it we'll see

basically 3 people on the team decided they havent been having fun with tf2 and don't want to play anymore

they all offered to stick around long enough to fix the roster so it's not like anyone is screwing us over and we desperately need folks to fill in, everyone involved is being cool about it

mainly i just don't have the motivation/patience to deal with replacing half my team

someone else on the roster might be salvaging things we're still talking it over but dtp AS YOU KNOW IT TODAY is dead ripdtp

pro sports is a bad analogy because

1) pro athletes do talk shit to each other on the field on a regular basis, most of it worse than calling someone "trash"
2) spectators can't hear 99.9% of it

the only time I've seen a major PR disaster over shit talk in pro sports is when someone crosses a major PR boundary (racism, that time someone was shit talking someone's dead sister or something) and the media actually gets wind of it

I've played on teams with several different girls in tf2 so I have a pretty good view of what they go through when just trying to get their game on and let me tell you it isn't pretty. I would just like to go on record that i think all 18 of the beautiful ladies participating in this event are very talented wonderful individuals and its great that they get a chance to showcase their skills in an environment where they aren't being falsely put down (or falsely built up!) solely because of their gender.
