#14 Original our Regular in TF2 General Discussion
2sy_morphiendI'd probably use my original instead of the stock if they made it sound like something other than total shit. It needs to be louder for starters.

The best part about the original is how much less noise it makes. So easy to miss it if you're distracted, which is a huge bonus to roamers.

Khakithe best speedruns are where they completely and utterly break the game's coding

eg; megaman, zelda

Cosmo did a OoT all medallion run. Mind fuck that people figured out how to glitch cutscenes. Also found out that Dodongo was the final boss.

I wasted a lot of this week watching Cosmo speedrun Zelda games. Definitely entertaining stuff. I think SpeedRunsLive did one for Hurricane Sandy too, glitches ftw.

#61 New Weapon Discussion in TF2 General Discussion

#60, I remember when people wanted heavies to get faster to mid.

People don't know what they want.

#6 No LFS sub-forum? in Site Discussion

If nobody is looking on IRC, chances are nobody else is looking. This isn't generally the place to look for scrims.

I don't think they're his, considering it's a screenshot of the photo (dat whitespace). It's a test thing he has to take.

#3 Official KZmod 1.0 in Off Topic

I spent way too much time in kz maps (climbing) in 1.6. Looks pretty cool though, reminds me of zombie mods where you needed to boost and sacrifice people to get to better places.

I'd guess he meant igneous. Parent does indeed sound dumb, but that's just jargon for you.

#4 Best of Trading in Off Topic

What exactly does 1.22 mean? 1.22 refined? keys? I have no clue how the economy goes about or any of the pricing (I know buds are god tier but that's about it), so this is kinda lost on me. I also don't know what outpost does, I thought it was just like tf2trade.

I should actually use one of those sites though, I still don't have a rocket jumper :(

Also, best trade ever was justin geting an unusual for a parasite head.

#5 make low ammo red? in TF2 General Discussion

I'm pretty sure there's a value in the huddamageaccount file that says how long it lasts.

#1 another update in TF2 General Discussion
An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. The major changes include:

Added Benign infiltration to the Mann Vs. Machine mission-cycle file for servers
Fixed a Dead Ringer Spy exploit in Mann Vs. Machine mode
Fixed a regression with mini-crit damage calculation
Fixed a client crash in the Medi Gun charge meter when using a custom HUD
Fixed Festive Huntsman arrows and Rescue Ranger bolts using incorrect hit boxes
Fixed Tough Stuff Muffs not using the correct model for the Engineer
Fixed a clipping problem with the Hunger Force
Fixed Strange Festive Sandviches leveling up multiple times in a single use
Fixed a lighting issue in mvm_bigrock
Updated the backpack icon for the Festive Ambassador

Maybe some old huds work now?

B looks like talc, but I'm not an expert. It is metamorphic and white.

#13 Clearing up possible confusion in Off Topic

You could have just added something to your steam name (Orbital`joraney or something), since it's only relevant then. A lot more people on your steam friend list know you than on these forums.

#8 P-REC broken after update? in TF2 General Discussion
SizzlingCalamariMy patch is the equivalent of a recompilation with the fix; I didn't need the source code to fix the plugin. So if all Valve needs is the binary, you can take the fame and send it to them:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/45675887/p-rec_mod.zip

Did you remove the signing on the file (I'm assuming you modded a previously signed binary)? I'd expect that they'd want you to cut that off for them so they can apply the new signing. I'm unsure if they actually look at the source for the program and just pray the person has good intentions, and if they'll accept someone else moding someone else's program without permission.

I know the fix just has to do with an updated setting (config plaintext for the TF2 system). However, programming practices probably won't budge for this. Go ahead and try to get them to verify it, they might. I stopped using P-REC way back and just came by to inform you programming practices as to why they aren't exactly the ones responsible and might not signing a fixed P-REC. Though they're generally nice enough so they might.
