If you play soldier, play more pocket (if you do not already) then you will have a much better understanding of how to play medic.

Don't be afraid to hold W.
This is actually an extremely loaded answer, but it's true. It is quite often linked with your confidence in your ability (see: clockwork, sheep, snowblind, elmo, others). While you don't want to think that you can fight the world, you want to go into the mindset that you quite potentially have the ability to win ANY duel you take. If you get into a duel and just go "I'm on 2 hp there's no way I'm gonna win", then you'll probably never clutch a situation similar to that, (EDIT:)especially if it's an important moment in a game.
My recommendation is to just study some demos, mostly of transitional/phase play to see how both scouts on each team react to what their team does and the other team does. Rollouts are cool and all but they are 15% of the game.
Good luck mate!!
infinite-enigmakKaltUuhe's right thoughhe's actually completely wrong
highlander is a community-developed gamemode that removes class switching entirely from the game and arbitrarily enforces the all-classes-are-equal mantra which the developers (to my face) have said was never intended
Maybe so, but they certainly didn't intend for the same 4 classes to be used 90% of the time and a significant amount of content arbitrarily banned.
I think, however, most of the stuff from 6v6 is closer to Valve's image of the game competitively.
Anyone remember Pirates, Vikings & Knights? That shit was the BOMB, especially at LAN parties!
HAHAHA Habbo Hotel and the fucking races
PC Gamer also made an article, for what it is worth.
E: Quality comments section as always
Some neat posts in here.
I remember one of the first MMO's I played was this Korean(?) MMO called Dragon Raja. It was kinda cool but all I did was just level up a few times and not really pay much attention to anything (p much standard for most MMO's these days, eh?)

Another funny memory (not the start of my online gaming, but early enough) was back in '04 in Grade 7 (first year after Elementary School for you yanks etc). I remember playing some fy_iceworld pub in CS 1.6 and I saw a guy's real name that attended my school. I dumpstered the server (heh) and the next day at school he was pretty fucking mad and had a go at me.
yttriumwarcraft 3 porn maps
Don't remember these. I remember the Natural-Selection ones tho, lol.

The precursor to Valve's Steam
But one of my favourite: Cheating-Death (If you don't know, it was an oooooooold anti-cheat used primarily with CS back in the day)

Echoing tr_rocket_shooting2, especially whenever you decide to change sens.
Little grammar, "which has", probably change to "who have". I'd probably change the other "has" to "have", also. (inb4 Muphry's law plz)
Yeah I know I'm nitpicking.
Unrelated to grammar - seems pretty cool. Are they just going to invite random people who are in the group or something?
EDIT: nvm. Just read the actual group post again. I'm an idiot
AndKennethIs this supposed to be like myst/riven?
kind of.
E: will give that a shot ty
E2: thanks omni. I fixed it by putting these in my scoreboard.res under "scores" near the top:
"spacer" "5" (under avatar_width)
"killstreak_width" "15"
"killstreak_image_width" "15"
