LionxWhat was it like at your first LAN?

Do you mean ESEA? If so, specify and I'll answer. Otherwise my first LAN was Showdown LAN 2008 in Peoria, IL. I picked up TecH at the airport, he was the first person I ever met from the internet. It was a BYOC and his case was cracked from the flight. So when we got to the hotel we plugged it in to make sure it worked and his fans blew about a pound of cigarette ashes everywhere, it was disgusting. At the actual LAN there was a 5v5 TF2 tournament. I played with TecH, Nightmare`HX and two guys from BB (Bukkake Baptism, still one of the best team names). We played against BB in the finals and won $1200 processors. We had asked oPlaiD to play with us, but he was in the COD4 tournament and thought he was going to win the same prize, but he got 2nd and won some $50 computer case.

sherman_gluckdo you know rapha? can you get him to sign my sk mousepad?

I do. I can. He lives about 20 minutes from me.

kirbyWhat made you interested in making frag videos?

What makes anyone interested in anything? I'm not sure how to answer that, I've always enjoyed watching frag videos and it's not difficult to get into. It's just something I do for fun.

zephyrIf you could listen to one song and only that song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I listen to so much music it would be impossible to answer that honestly. These artists always seem to make it into my rotation though: lcd soundsystem / tycho / phantogram / tom day / yppah / emancipator / bonobo.

SnowyEver planning to make the big comeback?

I'm always open to playing, I thought I would be this season. If the opportunity presents itself then I will, but I don't actively seek teams. I just enjoy playing with people I like.

phobiaWhat do you think has changed the most over the years of competitive tf2?

I think the risk/reward calculations are better understood. In some aspects the game has been sped up because people understand their advantages better. On the flip side, those advantages are often defensive ones.

GeknaiirWere you bookshe1f in the zowie tournament?

(also where can I get your cfg)

I do know who bookshe1f is, but I'm not sure he wants his identity revealed.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/khinsy - here's my entire cfg folder.

yankeehow long did it take to register what had happened after hitting this shot?

I knew immediately what happened, believe it or not I was aiming at the medic. I didn't know if it went through tri's legs or not - we loaded up the demo right after the match and watched it with everyone at like 5% speed, it was pretty funny.

Rockkkkkkkteam banny or team plat

I think if both teams play to their full potential, mixup will win.

pandurrrtits or ass?

Ass.

etherIs TF2 dead soon or where do you see it going?

TF2 isn't going anywhere, it's free to play and has a massive player base with no similar games coming out to directly compete with it in the foreseeable future. Also, competitive TF2 is a lot bigger than meets the eye. There's just a huge division of players across esea, cevo, ugc, mlg, 6v6, 8v8 (used to be), 9v9, etc. which I think is the major issue, and seems to be overlooked by everyone.

Alderhow far could you throw me
i'm 140 lbs and 6'1"

I'm 6'4" and 230 lbs, how far could you throw me?

alec_do you always wear your blackhawks hat backwards when u play

I often wear hats when playing, although I think I only wore that to one LAN.

Lunewhat socks are you wearing

None.

remedywhats your favorite thing about today

It's Friday - about half of my office was gone, watched a lot of documentaries at work.

AloSecin your opinion, is CEVO going to succeed?

I think the leagues are an irrelevant platform, the people are what make it successful. Splitting the community even further is risky, but so is putting all your eggs in one basket. CEVO will be as successful as people want it to be.

SpewntheSpoonFavorite frag movie/clip that doesn't include yourself?

I think Mousesports 2008 was really well made, especially for it's time, even though I think CS is awful. Other than that, anything by entik/subtitled (decap is shit).

sh0ckerwhats your computer specs

i7 2600k / GTX 560 Ti / 8 GB / Corsair PSU / Asus Mobo

Irishhhhfavorite play you made in tf2?

The very first ESEA TF2 LAN (Season 5), everyone was set up and it was Pandemic vs coL on viaduct. Brad came over to me right before we started and was joking about how I might hit a few headshots on him. The very first shot of the match was a headshot on him, dunked on.

x3who is the deadliest gamer you have played against?

1. TF2 PLayer
2. Quake live player

DaHanG is the best overall FPS player I've played with/against.

WhiskerBiscuitWho would you most be excited to see make a return to TF2 competitively and why?

Any teammate I've played with at LAN, they're all fun people. To give you some perspective on what invite TF2 currently is, here's a list of players that I played on a team with at LAN that don't currently play invite. fragile, shade, ww, fanom, kermit(lol), orzo, saber07, ruwin(lol), carnage, relic, oplaid, sweater, ryanr, dummy, pyyyyour, seanbud, zbryan. I think all those players are still upper invite caliber too, which is sad for tf2 :<.

There are two heavies at dropdown. Two.

I played a lot of Quake 2 at the highest level in duel/tdm/ctf/ca.
