i just took the rgl postseason survey and noticed on the whitelist section it only asks about cow mangler and pocket pistol with no mention of the market gardener. imo the weapon only serves to detract from the game with its 1 shot kill mechanic. anyway, let's discuss as i'm sure there many differing and polarized opinions regarding the weapon and it's kinda weird rgl didn't even put it on the survey.

I don't really care that much either way but it is pretty weird that it wasn't included in the survey given its status as pretty clearly the most controversial unlock currently allowed- maybe it's cuz they wanted to focus more on which weapons to include rather than which to exclude, but it's certainly worth at least having the conversation

i really dont get why RGL wouldn't just ask the same exact questions as they did in past seasons, in addition to anything new
if you took an action to ban or unban a weapon based on people's opinions a year ago, it's probably a good idea to sample again and confirm that people still think it should be banned/unbanned
also from an analysis perspective they really should be asking which single map they people to remove if they had to pick one, as that is the action RGL takes based on the map feedback (can do this in addition to rating enjoyability)
i swear ive been saying this stuff for years but maybe now that reno is admin there's hope that the way these surveys get done could change lol

yeah its because nobody really had good enough mechanics years ago to make it worthwhile over the escape plan which is why every thought it was bad imo. but even still i think only a select few soldiers make it better than pickaxe
