Oh hey, a Polish team. I recognise one person on this roster so this should be a fun one.
After being knocked out in the Quarter-Finals of Division 2 last season, KRITZBERG FOR DEFENCE are back to take a shot at Premiership, but this time with some new additions. Players remaining from the Division 2 Season 36 roster include: paparazi, Wonszu, and Bonkers. After a hectic Division 2 season, the Poles are looking to make an impression in Premiership.
The first of the new players is BeaVerN, who is playing Scout alongside paparazi. BeaVerN is an old-school player, playing his first season all the way back in Season 8. He has plenty of Premiership experience under his belt, however, it was a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away. Starting in Premiership back in Season 12, when it was simply known as the Premier Division, BeaVerN currently has a lot to prove. He’ll be looking to show that he’s still got it and has what it takes to compete at the highest level after the many changes TF2 has gone under since then. The Medic-Scout speed plugin might work into his favour here, with more experience in the past acting as a good foundation to blast off of.
paparazi also has a lot of old-school TF2 experience. However, without the foundation of Premiership experience to build off of in comparison to BeaVerN, he’ll be looking to make more of a first impression rather than proving himself again.
On Solly, we have Wonszu and Bonkers. Wonszu, another TF2 veteran, is slightly different in comparison to BeaVerN. Whereas BeaVerN took some seasons off and had a few breaks, Wonszu is one of those players that seems to stick around no matter what. With a huge amount of experience on Solly, he could potentially bring some perspective to the combo and help coordinate his team from Pocket Solly. Bonkers has his own medals to flaunt too, winning the prestigious second edition of the Vaccinator Cup back in 2013, and making his Premiership debut back in Season 19. Are you seeing a pattern here? Once again, Bonkers will have to show he still has his mojo.
Finally, we have stan on Demoman and Graba on medic. Both are fairly well known Highlander players, and both played in Division 1 last season. stan played Solly for The Compound, but makes the move to the slightly more intoxicated and melanin-heavier projectile class. While stan had quite a rough Season 36, Graba was almost able to grab the golden medal with веазтмоде, before falling in the Grand Finals. Again, Graba has plenty of old-school Premiership experience, whilst stan doesn’t, for a nice change of pace.
KRITZBERG lost their first match against Faint Gaming in Week 1 of the season, but managed to put up a fight on Process, barely losing 4-3. But losing out on Snakewater 6-1. Process seems to generally be the map that Mix teams or newly found teams are especially strong at. This could be foreshadowing to KRITZBERG finding their footing later in the season and improving as the weeks draw by.
Look out for some shiny plays as KRITZBERG FOR DEFENCE storm into Prem:
