I have always been sus of eli/mxr circlejerk, but I'm not sure that outwieghs my distrust of rgl. I think if you're gonna ban someone for cheating you should provide the community with the material used in the decision making. This is a great opportunity for RGL to show some fucking spine and defend their decision.

It would be kinda weird for RGL to take as long as they did to ban mxr despite all the evidence, and then end up just banning Elijah without any evidence just to be safe. But I have zero insight into how RGL works so who knows?

I think if you're gonna ban someone for cheating you should provide the community with the material used in the decision making. This is a great opportunity for RGL to show some fucking spine and defend their decision.

Releasing material/info that led to the ban is always a super bad idea because it gives cheaters an idea of what is safe/what the AC team is looking for.

It's also a great way for admins to be selective with who does and doesn't get to play. I haven't seen any justification from either the community or RGL for eli's ban. What I have seen is the admins selectively enforcing rules. If the community didn't go after mxr and find clips of him walling I'd be sus on his ban too.

it's the same situation every fucking season with another ban or bad decision, and RGL won't change because we complain on the forums about it.

urmphi, if you want to actually make a point to the team at RGL, just DM them, doesn't matter who. They may just tell you to fuck off, but it could perhaps give you some more insight in the ban.

like, there's just no hope left in making threads about stuff if no one cares to take this to RGL, they only care if they read it on their forums or their dms, and the very rare situation when something fucked goes on and sigafoo has to come here and type an essay to us, but there's no in between.

I hope justification comes, but I won't hold my breath for it. I wish for the truth to come out of someone.
