They sent Sean some merch IIRC, strange that it wasn't on the blog though.

I expect them to do it next time though, imagine how much could be raised with that kind of exposure.

Just the fact that this would confirm tf2 dreamhack but we still selflessly donate it warms my heart

-If you want a lot of viewers participating but may not want to cast a lot of lower level pugs, perhaps you could create a small bracket of teams and only cast the finals (and semifinals?).
-Unless I am mistaken I did not see the teamfortress.tv logo on the charity splash screen at all. Something as simple as that could create a lot of reputation for the site.
-Of course the most amazing part of AGDQ was how personal and casual everything felt. You could actually see a bunch of young people together celebrating gaming. I don't expect teamfortress.tv to be able to produce any kind of live cast with multiple people together any time in the near future, but it's definitely on the wish list.

Overall an amazing event. I was highly surprised at how good the donation web pages looked. That donation widget was fucking awesome. Oh, and you can't forget Ikpure's intro. Combining the music, frags, and really really ridiculously good looking ultiduo map, turned that into the perfect hype video.

Tviq is pronounced "Tveek", not "tweek" in case anyone was wondering...

Don't know if this has been mentioned/discussed before, but wouldn't it be pretty cool to try and get the news of how successful the fundraiser out to the PCgamer people or ign/other gaming websites etc. Could be another cool way to spread the word of what the tf2 community can do!

Tviq did indeed participate in the event, but it was ikpure who made the promo video.

Oh right, mistake. I knew something was off with that. Edited.

Enigma didn't have confidence in the charity team and felt uncomfortable with tf.tv being associated with the event.

One YouTuber I was surprised to not see there was Jerma985.. Considering his personality and association with STAR_, the event was basically made for him to partake in!
