Hello all, I would like to apologize to the community as a whole, I have been informed that I offend a lot of people and I have a bad reputation. Well, since this is the case I am taking time to sincerely apologize for my actions. I am asking for anyone who has a problem with me to please talk to me, I am not a bad person. Yes I did run a pug group that may have been questionable, but that isn't a reflection of who I am. Platypugs is absolutely a shit show, I agree that mistakes were made on my part, and that it wasn't exactly a welcoming place, but at the time it was created it was just a place for my friends, but as it grew it became more and more of a shit show, and despite efforts from me and the admins, it was too far gone. I know it may have offended some people and for that I apologize. I would just like the community to know that I regret my actions and want to become uncancelled within competitive tf2.

Maybe not the best idea to post on a form where 90% of the average viewer base is full of higher-level players or does not know you. Just a tip for next time. (Also if you're going to apologize it would probably be better if you said it to the people you actually offended, it's a lot more personable, while this can come off as trying to get people off of your ass, though I'm not sure whether you've done that or not.)

For anyone out there that has a negative opinion of platy, I hope u know that he legit had nothing to do with what happened to platypugs. All he did was create the server, and let his admins run it. I don't think its fair to blame him for not being prepared to suddenly go from running a 20 man friend pug group to becoming the one of the only active pug groups with 200+ players to manage.

Platypugs was a good idea in the beginning, a group for NC/AM/IM players to get some pugs, but quickly blew out of proportion when the elijah/mxr circlejirk came in. Ultimately the toxicity and people playing there probably would have put it in the same place it is today, regardless of banning the cheaters, which is a shame because it was a fun place in the beginning for low-level players to play and now it's gone.
