Friend of mine is interested in competitive, specifically medic. Was wondering what videos out there are good resources to understand medic in competitive, thanks.

mr. slin youtube tutorials

just look for the ones with medic stuff in the title, old but gold. I haven't watched these in forever so I'm not entirely sure they hold up, but I remember a lot of my early tf2 fundamentals were grounded in some of these videos.

As with any class watching demos with people better than you is very useful. Hearing different perspectives about the class (and the game generally) will help you build a stronger understanding. As said in the seeds pastebin, it’s much better to have POV’s with comms to review. I’ve found the best way to do this is stream, but you do need a PC that can still deliver a stable framerate.

Local recording is also an option if streaming is too intensive (not sure how much less demanding it is though) or if you have like performance anxiety or something.
