bearodactylIdk why this needs to be said but instead of banning people out of the blue, people should be (warned) for things.
In ESEA if a team tried to make their team name something edgy that was over the line, tri would just tell them "hey you need to change it", working with the players and being forgiving/less strict with banning people means players are happier and drama is avoided
i get the sentiment but i know for a fact that that exact same example happened this season and rgl asked them to change it, not ban them
im not gonna pretend to know or care about the rgl forums though so maybe they are fucking up

Not really, the only reason those forums were kept alive was Mothership changing the feeding tube. Now that he's gone there's no reason for them to keep it up. Plus it's expensive af for what it is and I highly doubt anyone wants to moderate them.

According to the discord post, the forums would take up the majority of the $1200 yearly hosting, with the FORUMS taking up the most of that cost. How the fuck is that possible? Doesn't the site get like 20-100x more traffic? How do you fuck that up so bad, is the tech they use for the forums just that awful?
