malarkeyI didn’t say anything else in the thread bcz I generally agree that Israel is going way too far, it pissed me off that that guy said that a child murdering terrorist coward “died like a soldier.”

So you don't say anything in the thread, unless it is to insult and demonize leaders of the Palestinian Resistance?

It is an objective fact that Yahya Sinwar died a soldier, on the frontlines, being attacked by tanks, drones, and missiles. Despite the constant lies and propaganda about "human shields" he died surrounded by nobody, no soldiers, no civilians.

Sinwar is not a "terrorist coward". He was born in a refugee camp, his entire life he spent watching his people and his nation be massacred and wiped out by Israel. His whole life has been spent in dedication to fighting for the Palestinian cause.

The cowards are people like Bibi, Ben-Gvir, and the rest of the Israeli government that sits in their ivory towers bombing children, bombing schools, bombing hospitals, etc. People like Sinwar and Nasrallah spent their whole lives fighting oppression and colonization, and they died fighting like soldiers.

"In 1989, Sinwar was sentenced to four life sentences in Israel for orchestrating the abduction and killing of two Israeli soldiers and four Palestinians he considered to be collaborators."

"During his time in prison, Sinwar continued to coordinate the execution of Palestinians suspected of collaboration with Israel and planned the abduction of Israeli soldiers."

"Sinwar was elected as the leader of Hamas in Gaza and claimed to pursue 'peaceful, popular resistance' the following year, supporting the 2018–2019 Gaza border protests,[13] though he is also reported to have been dedicated to eradicating Israel"

"He is widely regarded as the mastermind behind the 7 October Hamas-led attack on Israel in 2023"

"The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, announced his intention to apply for an arrest warrant for Sinwar for war crimes and crimes against humanity, as part of the ICC investigation in Palestine."

Skewed perception of a "soldier".

oh no! he's dedicated to eradicating the colonial settlers who are dedicated to eradicating him ever since they were transplanted artificially 100 years ago. What a horrible piece of work.

Point 1: He was sentenced to life in prison for killing soldiers, how is that an act of terrorism? Soldiers die in war.

Point 2: If they were collaborators, then I still dont see how this is any different than killings the US has done based on allegations of collaborations with enemy nations.

Point 3: "Reported to have been dedicated to eradicating Israel" is not an argument. An argument is something like "During the peaceful Gaza border protests, around 200 protesters were killed by the IDF, reinforcing the fact that peaceful protest is simply not an option for the Palestinian cause."

Point 4: Oct 7th was an act of resistance. 75 Years of brutal oppression, massacres, etc. will cause events like Oct 7th.

Point 5: "Announced his intention to apply for an arrest warrant" carries no weight. It's important to note that the ICJ actually did rule (not that they intended to look into this, but that they carried it out and made a ruling) that Israel is an apartheid state.

Nothing you've said disproves the fact that he was a soldier who spent his life fighting oppression, and died fighting oppression.

He killed civilians... but he did it in the name of delusional nationalism and that makes him a saint! Why can't everyone notice you're right and sane?

In 1978 I discovered a clay tablet buried beneath Mount Kailash. It has taken until now for me to decode the archaic script and decipher what meaning lies beneath. So far, only one word stands out. Mong. And with him, come death, plague, famine and decay.

alex80Point 1: He was sentenced to life in prison for killing soldiers, how is that an act of terrorism? Soldiers die in war.

Where did I say killing soldier's was an act of terrorism?

alex80Point 4: Oct 7th was an act of resistance. 75 Years of brutal oppression, massacres, etc. will cause events like Oct 7th.

Stop defending terrorist acts. Killing innocent civilians who have had nothing to do and cannot effect what Israeli leaders are doing is not a justifiable reason for "they killed them because of oppression". Jewish groups did this after WW2 and tried to poison a water supply of a German town. Guess what? They are terrorists.
This is not me saying I see eye to eye with Israeli's actions, in fact what they doing is horrible and I hope for every Palestinian and that Israeli leader's stop this shit so the innocent people can be safe and live a good life. But stop glorifying a terrorist you sick fuck.

Hey, so what government is funding Israel to prolong the war instead of taking care of their citizens? Asking for a friend.

Third-Worldism
noun
The tendency of affluent, tender-minded humanitarians from the First World to venerate the Third World and/or savagery in general.

Signs you might be a Third-Worldist:

  • You believe that the Native American tribes were living in peace and harmony with each other and with nature prior to the arrival of Europeans.
  • You believe that slavery is a uniquely Western phenomenon.
  • You view international trade with skepticism or think that a nation "loses" when it trades with a richer country.
  • You support or advocate for war.
  • You have a poetic or "superhero movie" view of modern international relations, where some nations are the "good guys" and other nations are the "bad guys."
  • You believe that the problems facing the Middle East and Africa today have more to do with colonization, multinational corporations, "imperialism," etc. than with the cultures, religions, and laws that currently prevail in the Middle East and Africa.
  • You have never been to a Third World country.
  • You refuse to talk about the problems of Islam or of African religions. You refuse to talk about or critique the cultures of Third World countries.
  • You condemn immoral actions (e.g. murder, terrorism, theft) when they are committed by individuals from one country, but excuse or try to justify the same actions when committed by individuals from another country.
  • You use political slogans or loaded terms like "liberation," "neoliberalism," "by any means necessary," "power to the people," etc.
  • You do not look at or form opinions based on data when thinking about about international issues, instead relying on news articles, social media, pictures, and so on. You do not form opinions based on weighing benefits against costs.

Notable Third-Worldists include Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Alexandre Dugin, various socialists & foreign-aid lobbyists, and so on.
