If you're speaking re: loro's team, I find it more akin to mackey being in open. To my knowledge they are off-classing/not that serious/haven't played in a long time. That being said having an entire team as opposed to just mackey on scout is obviously better, but if they're not playing that seriously I doubt they'll steamroll everyone.

I'm not too familiar with all the other "top" open teams at the moment so obviously I'm speaking from my own standpoint of playing with a team that probably shouldn't be there either.

It was more about people whining about how it's allowed for them to be in open, when in past seasons of open MUCH more glaring examples of sandbagging were present

I'm planning on writing some non-official open power rankings. If anyone wants to add me to chat me up and discuss the teams please do. I've only scrimmed ~half of the teams I'd consider contenders so I'd love to hear about the rest.

I like how arctic joe's team mainly only scrims IM teams so none of the open teams realize they're good

you should plan on scrimming them all the potential power rankings teams if you want to put up a consistent one. Or atleast get more than one person's opinion on it, you could have a pretty different view from one other person on what's good.

only caught a glance of the top 10 teams but it seemed pretty similar to what most are saying in this thread.

Also something ive noticed this season is that the IM/open divide is much less distinctive than it was previously. I think there are a lot of open teams that operate at an equal or higher level than a lot of teams in IM. I think that's more a reflection of how IM has changed since last season than how open has changed, but it also means that there are some good teams in open.

Just the number of teams this season is bound to make things very interesting. And there's no team that is "perfect"--there will be a lot of contenders for the #1 spot.

That said, it's looking like pot's team, noko's team, and 2c's team are looking the strongest.
