Is it at least possible to have seanbud,lange,cbear,djc,bloodsire,etc casting on someones stream? Last time was great.

Not wanting to add to the drama but I wanna post too so I probably will anyway.

I don't dislike VTv but I've never really enjoyed their casting/style near as much as TFTV. Hearing that TFTV won't have any say/didn't get the contract for all the casting stuff does make my excitement for the event take a hit. I don't understand (obviously because I nor most people in this thread know whats going on behind the scenes) why both communities can't work together on this as its an international TF2 thing, and I feel like it shouldn't be locked down between them.

The entire point of getting another US team to i49 was for the betterment of the entire TF2 scene worldwide. Disallowing TFTV doing the online cast, or even casting off-stage matches, only hurts that goal. I hope people get over their egos and realize they are nothing without each each.

But nobody is disallowing anybody to do anything. There are no dudes at i49 checking your VTV pass before letting you in with a camera. It seems to be mostly in the heads from the looks of this thread.

This is the kind of stuff (no matter how much justified it is) that should never be thrown around in public forums.

This is only on behalf of myself, and NOT TeamFortress.TV (if I could take away the green name for just this post, I would).

A lot of words and exchanges have been traded in this thread, but it's clear that hostilities and grievances are being aired; unpleasant stuff. But I'm very hopeful; people have expressed what they've wanted to (I'm sure you can agree with me that we've covered everything from every side...), perhaps ungraciously, but it's out. Personally, from here on out, I just want to see things move forward, whether that's in the form of a collaboration or otherwise within the remaining three months. We can all unite under that goal of promoting the impressive, friendly competition that is TF2. No one should be holding ill will towards either organizations; that doesn't help grow competitive TF2. What does is dealing with the cards every person and organization is given and playing it up from there. Every single day, every single event, every single opportunity.

So, what's remaining on the list for i49?
- VTV's setup for i49, casters, etc.; i49 takes place on the weekend of August 23rd, approximately 3 months away
- TF.TV's fundraiser to send High Rollers Gaming TF2 to i49; at the moment, the fundraiser is at $7,119 out of $10,800 to reach its goal, with ~20 days left. http://i49.tf
- Showmatches, not only for the fundraiser, but to hype i49 itself.

I'm hoping everyone (spectators included) can focus on what's important; support, advancement, and progress. We're all relatively smart people. If there's a problem, we can find a solution.

Nope, but it's honestly a non-issue. I have a backup plan, it's just that I'd rather not execute it. Still hopeful, as there are showmatches left to do that will definitely give it a bump. :) HRG, too, I think are starting to figure out that this is their money...

Eh, I'm pretty sure the showmatches last year would fetch a 4 figure sum of donations a piece. Really you don't have anything to worry about.

Wouldn't worry about it, just been personal attacks on me and others thread more so than productive (the culprits are quite obvious). We're speaking to the individuals to make the coverage and quality at i49 the best, and this will mean outsourcing to other people who are not part of the Org, so e.g Lange and others :)

We actually have several announcements regarding i49; but Byte being the strict leader that he is, there is a blanket media ban on staff posting anything about them until he say....wait, NO BYTE NOT THE WHIP NO OH GOD PLEASE STOP HELP ME
