i hope seanbud will stream it, because this just makes me sad
As great of a read as this was, this needs to be handled in private and as adults. I believe we've almost hit the point of no return in this thread :D

All of you are completely fucking embarrassing. Right now all of you are worse than the fucking faggot reddit kiddies who turned Tribes Ascend into Call of Duty on skis with clan baby drama. Instead of people crying about spinfusors "not taking skill" it's fucking crying over who gets to cast the big game.
"I WANNA CAST THE VIDEO GAME"

"NO I WANNA!"

the301stspartanArxthe301stspartanArxthe301stspartanArx. If you just wanted to cooperate like you said how about you just talked to tf.tv yourself after they submitted first? Or how about you talk to them right now instead of making this abysmal thread that accomplishes nothing whatsoever.
Show ContentEveryone, go.
It's the whole point of my frustrations. With a lose reference, if someone invades your country and you fend them off, do you then invite them in to run it with you?
Even if I think it would be better to let them in, the hostile approach makes it difficult to want to...
It would have been better to speak to us, and attempted to run it together first.
If I was in your situation, I would man the fuck up, talk to the tf.tv crew, who are all great people who love tf2, and make i49 the greatest tf2 party of all time that it deserves to be. That, and having enigma banish this reprehensible thread, is the right course of action. Now do it.
It's what I thought should have happened from the start. TF.TV should have spoken to us but before we even got the chance to go speak to them about the event, we get an email from Multiplay telling us to fight our case. I'm venting because TF.TV decided to take a different approach instead of cooperating for the good of the game... and I'm venting because you're correct... it's still the right course of action to talk it out and work something out that involves both of the organisations, but it's hard to consider talking to 'great people' that try to oust you from one of your passions... covering competitive TF2 at the Multiplay LAN events.
The smarter people out of the readers here would see that while this is a vent on how TF.TV annoyed me personally, it is also an attempt to justify opening a dialogue for the benefit of the community.
No. Stop talking. Do what I said. You repeated "This is how it should've gone but tf.tv ruined it" plenty times. At this point you are calling me unintelligent.
However you know that the only right thing is to do what I said. If you are open for any "dialogue for the benefit of the community" you need to stop this thread which is the opposite of that and actually start a dialog. It is that simple. Everything else is counterproductive rambling that helps nobody.
Yes, you're right. The correct thing that benefits the community is to do what you said to do (for the record, that's not my job at Vanilla TV). My post is highlighting why even though I know it's the best thing to do, why I'm personally finding it difficult to want to do so. Someone insults you and then you're supposed to go work with them. Venting my frustrations here makes it easier to do so.

Fuck, I was really happy, was eating my cereal, watching a good scrubs episode, getting ready for bed and just head over to tf.tv real quick.
And then all this? What the fuck.
You just single handedly(-ish) ruined that special LAN feeling for me.
Do I wish that tf.tv got the gig as an european? Yes.
Does this shit make anything better? No.
Seriously fuck some of you

While it may make it easier for you to work with others, venting most definitely does NOT make it easier for others to work with you.
Having said that, most people in this community are really cool and forgiving and I'm sure they would still be willing to cast/produce alongside you/VTV(under the TFTV banner, because it obviously carries much more potential for viewership).

LangePlease guys, let's not turn an already bad situation worse. This is not the time to further divide NA and EU scenes by trying to figure out who is better and using Arx as a reason to do it. Just let it go and focus on i49. That is why we are here.

LangeSalamancerLange where is your mspaintpost. Where.
Sal, I like you, but I'm not in the mood to add fuel to the fire. I'm staking a lot on i49 and it is going to be a significant event in my life. I will not stand idly by while our small community fights among itself in the most petty and childish display I have ever seen.
This is not the time to bash EU and VTV, this is not the time to ignore the problem and post MS Paint memes. We need to start working together and putting our problems aside. We're too small to fight like this. It only hurts us. It is complete self-sabotage.
This is the best post that has been made in this thread.
One thing I want to say: Not touching the point of EU-TFTV. Just going to say that if VTV don't get some of the American TFTV people in to help with casting, like Sal and Lange, particularly since they're planning to be there in person, it'll be a stupid decision on their parts. Not just because they're cool guys and great casters and interested in helping the game and so on - of course VTV have people of their own who have those qualities. The big reason why it would be stupid not to include them is because casts are better when the casters are familiar with the players. The VTV casters probably don't know HRG that well. So get in Sal and Lange for that more familiar perspective on the team from their continent.
If the Aussies make it too, you should probably get Greaver in mumble as well, for the same reason.

SalamancerShit John, I made mine. Did you make all those?
I made mine, at least. It adds charm!
And Lange, if it makes you feel better, no one really wants that either, not even the mspaint shitposters. If anything, we just kind of want to see this trash heap of a thread burn.
