i'm not being gullible, i met him before at ETS. he's really down to earth and a nice guy...not the type of person who would intentionally dick someone over. you do realize things can go south, shit happens...i'm sure he'll hook it up eventually. and i'm sure he'll pop into this thread soon enough with an explanation

I don't want to get any of the details wrong but from what I know he kept a large chunk (if not all) the money raised from the raffle for himself rather than reimbursing the players on br0 for hotel/flights.

Blaze for example is out 1k~ for his flight and our hotel, but was ignored by zak for a few weeks before finally zak just removed him and stopped answering texts.

I get that you met him and hes a cool guy but I don't know if you should be blindly defending him.

Then you must be stupid because that doesn't excuse him from dodging contact. If things were "going south", wouldn't the logical thing to do is contact relic and explain the situation instead of leaving him in the dark for 3 months? Such actions would lead me to believe that Zakirll has no intentions providing relic with his raffle earnings.

well this all seems pretty shitty, i guess since i never had any negative interactions with him i felt the need to speak up, not on his behalf of course i don't know why hes doing this exactly but like you i'm not trying to get the details wrong, all im saying is i hope he comes through for him. zak's always done his best to provide for people in this community...just hope it doesn't end on a bad note

Jayz was able to help me a bit financially, hes always been a really great guy. So i'm probably only out around 700-800. I wouldn't be as angry if Zak had just told me straight up he cant do what he promised our team, instead of running me around for 4 months. It's not like we just sat back and did nothing and just relied on the raffle for his computer. We did newbie mixes and streamed them to help raise donations as well.

Mesr, clock, and I ended up having to pay for hotel rooms because the credit card information zak gave us was declined (shoulda been a red flag). He never replied to one of my texts or any of my msgs on steam. He would only speak through boomer and i would get a 1 sentence response with a different excuse every month telling me that its coming soon and to just be patient. He changed his cell number and removed me from friends so gg i guess lol.

Not really butt hurt about it I just don't understand why people keep promising shit they cant deliver on. Like before lan he was saying that he was going to have enough money to give to the lan teams for meals. I just don't understand how u can come up that short and not even be able to deliver on ur first promise if that was ur end goal.
