I went to geeksquad the other day to see if I could get a new graphics card installed in my computer when he opened it I was told they couldnt install one because the parts were microchips so they couldnt install I was thinking If theres a graphic card in here thats a microchip couldnt there be another one and a better one?

It's likely attached to the motherboard. In that case, it would be a no.

If for some reason it plugs in like a processor, then you can swap it out. I really doubt this is the case though.

What computer do you have?

Please be more specific......model name/#

If you want help, help us.

Anyways,
Most laptops do not have upgradable graphics cards.

If it is a desktop, you might have a chance. Though you'll be limited by the power supply and interface options.

You can't upgrade. There are no gpu's that use the PCI-e x4/x1 interface.

Ah so just buy a new computer

sorry, looked around for some pci-e x4/x1 graphics and i found these on newegg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=Property&Subcategory=48&Description=&Type=&N=100007709&IsNodeId=1&IsPowerSearch=1&srchInDesc=&MinPrice=&MaxPrice=&PropertyCodeValue=696%3A20108

but they're all low end, and you're not going to get any better.

Honestly, not worth it.

I would argue that your cpu is way too bad to actually do a signifigantly higher fps.

4 TITANs in SLI wouldn't give you better FPS in TF2. The problem is the low-end laptop CPU. Your best bet is probably a new computer, I'm sure you could salvage the HDD, disk drive, etc, so it would be cheaper than a full build.

As others have said, wait and save up enough to buy a new computer(and make sure you consult here first). You'd have to upgrade essentially everything inside your computer for it to be decent.
