This might just be on my side but i've noticed when I click links in threads it will bring me to "http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/(URL)"; instead of going straight to the url. This did not seem to be the case if the link was in quotes.

I think it was just an issue with the typing of the links from the original poster, they should be fixed in that thread now.

If this is in reference to that one specific thread, it was a problem I caused which has now been fixed. Don't worry, you're not crazy, it's me!

It's happened to me before a couple times, also when someone embeds videos it occasionally puts tf.tv in a little box. Not sure if that is related at all.

It's because you aren't putting http:// in front of your URL so the parser is treating it as a link relative to the present server directory (http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/).

Eg

url = 9601-external-links-not-working-properly

gives you

internal link
