Dear ESEA,
Could you please make TF2 have it's own set of rules that apply to only TF2? TF2 isn't counter strike 1.source offensive. Could you stop banning people that get hacked but some idiot that plays counter strike? Could you stop locking rosters so one person doesn't kill an invite team halfway through the season?
Could you?
yes
Should you?
yes
Would you?
...
no
...
Sincerely,
botmode

idk what you are tryin to say

this season for csgo within 3 hours of rosters locking, one player left a top invite teams (Team4Not) to join team Dynamic. Team4Not had used all of there team transactions and could not add a 5th; even if they could find one. Both of these teams were most likely going to lan. Do not act like this is a tf2 only problem.

He's confused because you said "but someone who plays counterstrike" when you meant "by someone who plays counterstrike." and then you didn't have any background about what you meant.
There's a banned CS player named caseythecat that hacked the esea accounts of nemrawd and swatt to play in pugs. Nemrwad and swatt both got banned for ban evasion because their ip's were then linked with caseythecat's. ESEA refused to unban them. Visitor got banned for someone cheating on CS under his ESEA account - not sure if it was the same person.
Either way, it's a really dumb way to get banned and they have no way of overturning it.

To be fair, the integrity rules are killing teams that had players with little of it, as intended. To me at least it's expected that only the team that went in during the regular season should be the one that plays the post season (including backups). Maybe they can get one emergency player addition that can be used at any time before their first post season game though. Still sucks for the players who stuck out the season only to get screwed like that.

I've never read this thread before. I think it's a pretty compelling argument to keep natf2 around in archive mode.

ESEA still makes majority of it's money from pugs, it obviously haven't been giving a shit for "situational" problems along with allowing any kind of exceptions since it's foundation and that is of course, across all games. They might listen to rulesets for actual game rule set such as the map pools, but when it comes to anything regarding account management or team management, they will never care.
So ranting on here or the esea forums is not going to do anything. The only way it's going to change is if someone actually starts an rival fps league against them which may actually prompt them to do something since they might be losing money, but beyond that, cs pugs are the ways to go

The entire situation we're placed in is complete and utter bullshit, we're basically in bondage when it comes to playing comp. The best solution would for ESEA to actually allow kalkin/killing to do their jobs instead of this -limited- privilege shit where they cant process tickets relating to account/rule management.
p.s I have never asked anyone to use my situation as justification to their arguments. If they do so, it's by their own will.

the only thing i would suggest to ESEA is to actually give admins power when running the league, the league is basically run by computers and it doesn't help when certain exceptions need to be made
