Hey all, i just got news that hibachi's computer had smoke pouring out of it and it is no longer working. This unfortunate occurrence is just the most recent event in a long series which have made this season a challenge for us. I have always been a proponent of teams not dying simply on principle, and while we have postponed what was probably inevitable for many weeks now, this most recent event simply cannot be weathered.
What this essentially means is that Vector Gaming is dead. If you know me, you know how much I really hate typing that, and realizing that it is true. I honestly take it pretty personally that I as a leader was unable to keep things going through the end of this season at least.
Not only have I let my own philosophy as a team leader down, but I have let down our sponsor Vector Gaming and in particular Syco from that organization who have paid us nearly $800 over the last 4-5 seasons for us to play this game.
I know some of our players are going to be done with TF2 for the forseeable future, and as for the rest of us look for us when next season rolls around.
PS: Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years and thanks to all the teammates this season who gave a real effort to keeping the team alive when they themselves were not necessarily exited about the prospect.

Shame. Seemed you guys had a really good attitude towards the game. It's unfortunate that you had a bunch of issues affecting your ability to play in the season. Hopefully that won't stop some of you guys from continuing to play in later seasons.

I understand you are dying this season, as there is little point continuing after so many hurdles. However, is there chance you guys will be reforming in the coming seasons. Or perhaps just you rebuilding a completely new team?
I'd love to see you guys stay around, especially carrying the Vector name.

Seriously the most resilient team in Invite. You guys did not give up until you had to and it sucks to see this team go. Also the name was really cool.

The fact that you stayed alive for as long as you did in a video game scene where teams often fold after a few rough losses is impressive.
I think you all deserve appreciation for sticking it threw till you could literally not play anymore. Congrats, and good luck with next season :)
