kill me now.
if your team offclasses a sniper you should be good, but a big waddling 450 is one of the worst things in TF2
we tried to make the game faster and the end result was that heavy turned out to still be the counter to fun
Would QF be overpowered if heavies were banned?
If not... maybe consider it...

You can still focus other things. It's mentioned EVERY TIME Quick-Fix comes up.
Focus other targets and you can kill the heavy with 2-3 people easy.

I think QF is the problem.
Quickfix heavy is powerful, AND heavy is a good counter to QF.
Blegh.
I remember bringing this up a while back to friends, and it was all "Quickfix is funnnn plz no ban lol fgt!"

I'm not comfortable with giving an opinion on it until the entire LAN is done, we still don't know if HRG is just going to roll through them with the usual standard or not yet
From what I've seen so far it seems like the quickfix would still be viable with a slight nerf to the ubercharge rate or even remove the overheal the medic gets when he uses his charge (so snipers can still quickscope him). My opinion might change after watching more games though.
TLRRemember when I said to ban heavy 10 seasons ago

Well I wouldn't. I was just saying it IS a possibility if everyone hates heavy so much.
I don't know a single 6s player who likes heavy. I don't play 6s, so I don't know why you guys keep it if you all hate it.

But it's different which makes it good. Why do you hate tf2?

it's not good because its boring as fuck to watch and I can imagine its awful to play against as well

different != good
heavy is not fun to play or play against and slows down the game.

that or any of the other things that could be nerfed to make it a little less ridiculous: being able to cap while popped, not able to airblast or juggle while popped, or the super fast build rate.

It seems so far that quick fix is clearly dominant at mids but shit at breaking last holds and specifically against heavies.
Combine it with gullywash and you have a recipe for a game slower than a sloth on ketamine

You've got 8 other classes to work with, surely somebody can pull a MacGyver and figure out a way to quickly kill a 400hp Heavy...
