With all the quick-fix controversy going on and the potential banning of it for season 15, would there be anyway to determine if we should practice with the quick-fix or not. Wasting off season time practicing with a weapon that could be banned seems pointless.
Cheers, Brisk

So right before the season and wasting scrims? I know its probably all we can do anyway but it feels bad.

If I ran a team, I'd be scrimming with and against all 4 mediguns. Nothing is really a waste if you apply what you learn well.

I personally guarantee it will be banned, I will cut my dick off if it isn't.

believe it or not esea doesnt take in the tears of forum posters when it comes to whats banned and whats not banned
if you honestly think qf should be banned, pm your local invite representative about it and make sure that hes gonna vote the way you want in the weapon ban polls
or just listen to him when he says "its not broken"

I am adding it in this, if you practice with a wide variety of tools you'll have more flexibility and creativity in drawing up plays.

No offense, I'm not trying to be a douche about this. I know I don't know anything about you, but saying something like this, the Vaccinator? This just makes me assume that you don't know much about the competitive scene. Each medigun has it's own perks along with some cons, each being about to counter each other if used properly, but the Vaccinator is pretty much a medigun used specifically in pubs OR you're just trolling/throwing.

IT TECHNICALLY NOT BANNED THE DREAM IS ALIVE.
No really you should understand what the vaccinator does if some else uses it but scrim with it? No.

I don't get why you are shitting on someone for using the vaccinator in non-scoring games. What is wrong with you? Let him do whatever the fuck he wants. What if the V gets a buff some day in the future and becomes the next quick fix? It would actually pay off having gotten a hold of it earlier. You play what is fun to you and your team to play, not what people with nerd stars on forums tell you is good.

vaccinator wouldbe good if i had some mmorpg mouse to deal with all its dumb settings
i rememeber we played a few scrims with it and it was similar to the qf in that youd use early to get your team into a fight
oh ya we played a eu tourney and dominated so hard the admins deleted the bracket we were in
its not awful its just not worth the time with how the game is now
FEEL FREE TO PROVE ME WRONG

Speaking of weapon ban voting, I think it would be better to include it with map voting, as in only Invite teams vote on the maps. -frag me to hell, but I feel like much of the TF2 community will take a singular invite player's, or even caster's, opinion as the best, heavily influencing the map vote. I believe this is exactly how cp_ashville got voted in. It's either that or many players had the same opinion on a map and sent 18 more votes than the next best. These results may even be called a landslide even if there wasn't actually a majority:
http://play.esea.net/index.php?s=poll&d=map&id=776®ion=1
The same thing would happen with banning weapons, even though the community would probably prefer weapon bans to be done this way. I guess the rationale for voting for maps like this is because it's how things are done for CS. I think it would be better if we differed here, though, and switched all voting to the Invite-team-based system (although now the Euros will have no say until their Invite division is formed.
But what do I know, I'm only one person. And effectively a nobody at that.
Edit: I just realized that that last mini-paragraph was very cynical and I didn't mean for it to be. I was only trying to say that I'm just one person and I'm not great at TF2.
Edit 2: I don't even know if I explained it right there.

I agree with hooky a lot, but the fedora-wearing liberal inside of me says that we need to give some level of power to the rest of the league, I think that every player who finishes the season on a team should have a vote, but weight the votes so higher divisions have more say (Invite players get 4 votes, Main gets 3, IM 2, Open 1). This could be used to allow invite/main players to effectively decide, but for the majority to veto it if necessary.
