The difficult part about using CL is not really being able to use model numbers, since most people do not put them in the post. It sucks having to look at 1000 shitty crt TVs to find a good sony GDM

I get that, but you still have to waste your time looking into one thousand shitty CRTs to find that gem. The worst is when people expect 50 bucks for a shitty 17inch with horrid specs, but they post it twice a day.

I just got a samsung 997mb that does like 140hz off craigslist last month for 20 bucks, it's pretty much your only option. If you can't find any decent crts on your craigslist try looking at the ones for neighboring cities, I had to drive to one of the next cities over for this one.

i used to have a googlereader feed for any iiyama 545(or whatever the 200hz) models being sold in cali

go to crazedlist, generate rss feed for specific monitor someone might be selling with whatever lcoations ur willing to travel to, stick in rss feed in some reader(rip google reader)
