I personally thought the editing on the frag scenes could have been toned down a notch. However, the sheer amount of work put into the video is impressive on its own. I know some of you might not be fans of this editing style, so I'm curious to hear your thoughts and opinion.

I can respect just the sheer amount of time that had to go in to this, that being said I think it could have been toned down quite a bit.

the editing in itself is impressive, but this is just another video where as far as I can tell the editor has a lot of technical ability and no taste

Every frag movie this guy puts up is just so amazing it's ridiculous. He already toned down his editing a bit in comparison to his other videos (= less dark color correction and pan crop raping but more 3d animations)

This was an amazingly well made frag video, probably the best I've ever seen in terms of technical ability. That being said why did he include that clip of the sniper slitting the spies throat, definitely took me out of it and to be honest it was kind of disturbing.

I would argue this was a very poorly made frag video, but an amazing movie in terms of cinematics and technical effects. This is probably just a matter of opinion on what the term frag video/movie should mean though.

lol cube basically made a semi-fragshow which had been done 800 times already and grid had an original frag movie and cube won.
however both frag movies were great and i enjoyed them both alot
I just feel that grid should have won since he had something that wasnt done before.

cube's movie was better made for the purpose of the competition (a movie to be shown before the finals at i46) as it had more hype

I can't tell if i hate the extra animations of the gun being moved around or if i love them

imo the killing effect was overused and the white screen seemed unnecessary. But the frags were incredible

okay that one is definitely worse. couldnt even follow what was going on. dubstep completed the feeling for me imo

On the contrary (It's possible my thoughts of what a frag movie should be leaked into my comments):
That was a perfect blend of editing and frags. The frags were amazing for sure, but I don't know where all the dirt about the "taste" or "overediting" comes from. It's great in so many ways. The syncing was there but not noticeable in any sense unlike many of the frag shows/movies today where it looks so forced. It's innovative - which can be scene in the scattergun ammo text and all the cinematics.

Just noticed it was cortA from siN's channel at 1:41 which is kinda funny.
As for the frag video itself I really thought this was awesome. I agree that the sniper and the spy slit throat scene wasn't really relevant because there was no kukri kills on a spy but never the less, I still found this video to be awesome. I cant imagine how much time this took you. Keep it up!
