This is how i roll on scout.
The difference is i don't hit.

First you get the solid fps, then you get the 120hz, then you get the aim.
for soldier its very tricky. i usually like to find an enemy, point at his model, and then flail my mouse wildly downwards and shoot until he dies
downpourI don't really know why this is, so if someone can enlighten me, I'm all ears (eyes).
Because you have a brain and brains are OP. From what I have noticed, stupidly chaning my sens back and forth all day makes my aim slightly worse that day but I can adjust to a new sens pretty quickly. Better to a higher than a lower one though. I can precisely move my hand a few mm if I need to but having to stir all over the desk is horrible. No idea how people play with 30 in/360+

Side swipe. Developed from me playing console shooters too much since I hold a controller really weird (also aim assist). It has it's ups and down, but it's probably not preferred.
In case anyone is interested since I've never really seen anyone else use it (in PC gaming at least), this is what it looks like. (you can see it during the Medic and Scout headshots)

This is secretly the reason why aiming left to right is easier for me than right to left, but don't tell anyone.

I prefer the technique called "don't aim".
I can only play Soldier.
I can only play Soldier.
I usually start out trying to strafe aim with twitching
once that doesn't work, I typically devolve straight into davis style aim

i hit all my shots and if i don't i blame it on hit reg
in reality i just try to strafe my crosshair to the target for scout, flail wildly for soldier and demo

As a scout I use a mixture of twitching and tracking. When im trying to be really unpredictable I go snoopy mode when I aim because I tend to spin around and airstrafe a lot. I dont strafe aim unless I know my next shot will kill them or if they are not looking at me.
i just swing my mouse around and pray i hit airshots.
I flail my finger around my trackpad praying I hit the shot.
I'm a roamer so I don't need to aim.
But seriously, tracking mainly but I twitch/flick if something (usually a scout) is coming up right behind me.

How the fuck do you aim with a trackpad.
How the fuck do you aim with a trackpad.
I tilt my steering wheel left and right in quick succession and hope I hit.
xbox 360 controller is your best choice, i have been playing with it since day one

Aiming, in my opinion, is knowing where the medic will land after he surfs your rocket...or knowing which direction the scout is double jumping to...or shooting that airshot knowing that the player will reach X height at Y time because you've seen 100000 enemies fly through the air in a similar pattern...
It's muscle memory.
Flick or track. Whatever you like to do!
(Edit- I guess my explanation is just tracking in a nutshell, but it's 5:23 am and who the fuck sleeps anymore)

If you notice he doesn't track much at all but each time he shoots he quickly aims at the player

Niko_JimsSide swipe.
I do this on sniper sometimes actually, didn't even really notice til I saw this post. Interesting.... Don't think it's from console shooters though.

otherwise you might get yourself in trouble
