I think the 5c is a good idea for people that cant afford the other ones because they can be pretty crazy expensive. Don't know anything about anything else to make a comment except iOS7 looks cool.

100$ less for the 5c is idiotic if what you're going for is a 'cheap' option. Everyone who can't afford a new iPhone is going to get a used one or an android phone anyway.

Too a lot of people (myself included) the iPhone is easier to use and is less buggy. I don't have an iPhone but my android has a lot of problems at times.

the fingerprint sensor is actually really cool, i'll give it that.
oh, and the slow-motion camera. pretty neat, and i'm really starting to think apple is heading in the right direction with these design choices.

I've used both Android and iPhones and they each have their good points. But the "cheaper" iPhone doesn't seem that much cheaper.

Stayed in BC for four months visiting. And the Canadian flag is pretty.

Considering how long it took for a jailbreak to happen with ios 6, there is no way in hell I'm upgrading to the 5S. If ios 7 even CAN be jailbroken it's going to take a long time, and an iPhone without a jailbreak is complete shit.

I also don't like the idea of apple having my fingerprints. I'm not really the type to worry about "big brother" or anything, and I know they claim the prints won't ever be stored on their cloud, but I still don't like the idea.

Ill stick with my jailbroken 5 and probably make the leap to a galaxy in a couple years when I upgrade.

iPhones are pretty good quality. Never had an iphone to compare apps to though, but I imagine the market is just as filled with the same stuff now (I remember instagram on android being a huge deal to hipsters).

Iphone caters to a entirely different niche in the market and the things they come out with are perfect for those population(high school girls, seniors), but upgrading to 4s or 5s is simply not worth it.

i just got an iphone 4 free with a 2 year contract
its really fast and easier to use compared to my old HTC Evo
i'm pretty pumped for this update, it looks sexy as hell
