well... open will be smaller out of hand because of IM and M being born - lots of players and teams getting sucked into that that wouldn't normally be there.
TerywjMr_Owl51 teams, though 5 have nobody paid and 4 of those aren't close to having 6 on the roster.
Pretty small open season, I guess.
It's always been high and low numbers alternating. S13 to S14 was an exception.
At least we don't have to scrim Granary to the next week straight because of the extension for you people.
Fair enough. Still seems really small to me, and with a pretty massive skill variance.

Season 12 had 39 teams, so even with the emergence of Main it's not a bad turnout. Number-wise at least.

airshot casino hasnt started scrimming yet as far as i know. i believe them all to be pretty scary on their offclasses, especially downpour. he might have the best medic dm in open, just sayin. next monkey suit.
the tragic servers team is starting to come together, im not sure if chriz will be playing his main. sinner returns to open as well as frio, i have no idea who else on the roster will actually play.
slin has been trying out for mahal kita. from watching their scrims on stream last night he'll probably do well if he decides to stick with them
there are also rumors of a certain MGE superstar joining this team. depending on how much seanbeaslerydoo can mold this group of players they have potential to do well.
the milkmen still have not found a pocket yet but stole MPB from his highlander buddies to play medic. master pain...bootie. this team looks like it would be a lot of fun to play on just from the people on the team, a lot of fun personalities. their old medic cozen has moved up to main to play with street hoops.
scrim results from some of the supposed top 10 teams vary wildly, and the next two weeks are going to be pretty crucial for some of the fledgling teams to bring new recruits up to speed. there are some obvious "favorites" to come out on top, but in my mind its going to come between 4 or 5 teams by the end of the season. like most seasons in open its going to come down to schedules as far as who is going to make playoffs. sacrifice a goat to the tf2 illuminati and hope you don't have to play anyone too crazy in the first 4 weeks.

Sal is a good pickup for Quantum Flux. Blinky + TicTack combo is going to be a tough nut to crack and cringe is hitting a lot of shots. Open should be fun to watch this season!

That team is the Mad Boys remake (the real, final, live one). tank's damage is really good, Snark is ridiculous at scout. Xen is a fantastic roamer, CHE has a lot of experience. I don't know the other two.
Slin is officially on Mahal Kita (AKA Owl's team), since, like, last night.
