This MOD is inspired from MGE :
The idea is to create different arenas like Badlands i.e and when you join it(As solly OR demo and the arenas are a little bit different for each) you find yourself at BadLands spawn and you have to do the first jump in the rollout and just like jump maps if you fail you go back to spawn then if you get it right you do the second jump and if you fail that one you go back to the bottom of the stairs i.e
Thogughts about the Doability and the usefulness of this plugin :) :)

I'm pretty sure Fiskie has made a map/mod that does just that

I think Shake is requesting more of a 'race' type map/mod or some shit...

#2;3;4 Thanks that's cool but surely needs improvement :)
#5 Yeah I use that but It would be better as I said above because it's "Automated" (btw you can use noclip aswell :p to skip jumps you have mastered)

I think he's saying a rollout rave would be really cool. It flashes on the screen which rollout to do, and then once you reach a certain point your time is recorded. Then it is determined if you beat your opponent or lost. Maybe it could all keep track of personal best times and top leaderboards

Fantasy, the guy who made the newer ETF2L /div plugin is working with someone to create a demoman race mod, first mid wins. Not sure how the progress goes on that though.

Atm the development is stalled because he's busy with all the new tf2pickup stuff. Once he's done we'll get back on track with it. As of now it's very usable, still not as "competitive" as we would like but it already does an amazing job at practising and racing 1 on 1 :)

This was something I started with a while ago but haven't gotten around to adding a timer and such.

Yeah, it's been made before but i believe that guy who started it never finished/no motivation to continue.

Someone could recreate stock maps like badlands and gullywash but with jump map textures that resets you back to a starting area if you touch any part of the ground that isn't where you want to jump in an actual rollout. That way each part of the rollout is like 1 stage of a jump map.
For example, badlands spawn jump into lower -> jump/slide up the stairs -> jump out of dropdown would all be seperate stages you could practice for demo or soldier.

It's better to do the full rollout and not 1 jump at a time, imo.

Learning specific jumps is a better starting point than just reattempting the entire rollout from scratch (at least when you're starting out...)

sv_cheats 1
net_fakelag 35 //gives 70 ping, adjust to your standards
bind "MWHEELUP" "mp_restartgame_immediate 1"; //restarts game
bind "MWHEELDOWN" "hurtme -140"; //optimized for demo, should give 260 out the gate
Made this config for rollouts, just start up a new server, set to any comp map, and exec rollouts.cfg, put it in your custom/cfg folder obviously
obviously if your mwheels are bound, you gotta set it to something else
