leading invite in every way possible
When you are the only people with 4 games it is pretty easy to have the best total stats in TF2.

brownymasterThis is why Fantasy TF2 would suck.
nfl teams have matches in a given week before other teams, doesnt mean fantasy sucks
it would be the same way if fantasy tf2 existed, just total stats at the end of each week (map)

How many players are in invite, how many FFW's happen, how many teams end up dying before the end of the season, dealing with time played mismatch, adding new players in the middle of the season, etc.

Why not? It highlights how lots of players won't have the same score differential because of FFW's/teams dying (though so far just 1). I mean yeah the rest of the matches haven't been played yet, but most teams can't cut that margin til they get a FFW themselves.

Even if teams play all of their games, there's going to be differences in time played. Hour long 5-4's are going to give better stats than 5-0 rolls, even if the 5-0 is more impressive. It's hard to say overall stats matter when there's no set time limit.
