I'll be taking a map making lesson maybe in the next few months, just wondering what the perfect map would be like, or what you would like to see in a map. ie: Lots of jumping room on the flank/into mid or wide choke points.
At least one spire of some sort. Also, try getting at least 3 ways to enter 2nd from mid.

There's no perfect map. Variety is good and good maps promote different play styles.
Just look at common denominators among the most used competitive maps and try to work from there

Lots of community testing. Remember, change is unpleasant, and all maps are garbage until proven otherwise.

A mid that isn't a clusterfuck of props. Having enough props for scout players to do what they do, but not so much that it's difficult to effectively deal with them. Height advantage is nice, but as long as it's easy to counter. Able to rollout and be at mid in ~14 seconds.
