Nobody here can really help you
Don't think of TF.TV as a bunch of dickheads some of us just get riled up whenever something that doesn't belong(item related threads being an example) pops up on the radar.
File a steam ticket, and i hope you get your hat back unusuals are expensive, but keep the unusual discussion to the steam or outpost forums
